EUROCEFTAZ

• Active ingredients: 1 vial contains ceftriaxone sodium equivalent to ceftriaxone anhydrous 1000 mg and tazobactam sodium equivalent to tazobactam 125 mg

  Pharmaceutical form: powder for injection

  Indications: Treatment of infections with pathogens sensitive to the drug components:

  respiratory tract infections, especially pneumonia, as well as infections of the ENT organs;
  abdominal infections (peritonitis, biliary tract and gastrointestinal tract infections)
  urinary tract infections;
  Genital tract infections, including gonorrhoea;
  sepsis;
  infections of bones, joints, soft tissues, skin, and wound infections;
  infections in patients with weakened immune defences;
  meningitis;
  disseminated Lyme borreliosis (early and late stages of the disease).
  Preoperative prophylaxis of infections in gastrointestinal, biliary, urinary tract and gynaecological procedures, but only in cases of potential or known contamination.

  When prescribing Euroceftaz, it is necessary to follow official guidelines for antibiotic therapy, in particular, recommendations for the prevention of antibiotic resistance.
