  Indications: Infections caused by drug-sensitive microorganisms:

  community-acquired pneumonia*;
  complicated skin and soft tissue infections*;
  acute pyelonephritis and complicated urinary tract infections;
  chronic bacterial prostatitis;
  pulmonary anthrax: post-exposure prophylaxis and treatment.
  * In these infections, levofloxacin should be prescribed only when the use of other antibacterial agents that are usually recommended for the initial treatment of these infections is inappropriate or impossible.

  Official recommendations for the appropriate use of antibacterial agents should be taken into account.
